Meg’s Aunt Penny is back in Seattle, but this time as an engaged woman. She’s determined to have the wedding at the Morrisey, and the building is buzzing with joy over the upcoming nuptials. Meg’s trying not to get overwhelmed with the sheer number of tasks that need to be completed before the big day. At the same time, she’s attempting to get to know the man who captured her aunt’s heart while getting to the bottom of why Penny’s best friend is acting so odd around the guy. 

Iris isn’t alone in her mixed feelings toward Penny’s fiancé either. His reputation precedes him, and Meg’s father, as well as a few other business people in the city, warn Penny away from the man. When one of those businessmen shows up dead in the Morrisey mailroom, Meg worries Penny’s fiancé might be the killer, but her aunt is too enamored to accept the possibility. 

Time is ticking, and Meg has to find the truth before Penny marries a potential murderer.
