With Noah out of town for a veterinary conference, Lou and Cassidy are coordinating to take care of Marigold. When a local realtor is murdered while he’s showing a house, Cassidy comes to Lou for help solving the case. 

The thing is that Cassidy’s motivation isn’t friendly. Quite the opposite, actually. The victim had been harassing her and other local realtors for decades. And because Cassidy was his latest obsession, both she and her boyfriend are at the top of the suspect list.

Lou has a lot on her plate, especially since Willow and Easton are out of town as well, and she’s looking after their animals while they’re gone. But with Easton out of the station, it’s even more important that Lou figures out the truth behind who murdered the realtor so Cassidy doesn’t take the fall.
