Coming Up!

I don’t know about you, but I kinda rolled into 2019. And no, that’s not roll as inย I’m on a roll, but more of a barely rolling out of bed kind. I felt sluggish and easily overwhelmed. BUT now that it’s April ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ย I’m finally getting into my groove. So here are a few things coming up! I’m in the editing phase of LITERALLY STALKED and it will be out in the beginning of May! YOU GUYS, I really love how this book turned out! Pepper is studying the works of the Brontรซ sisters and it’s all about broody men and stalkers and long buried secrets because … well … Brontรซ sisters. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰ My next book is going to be chick lit again! YAY! I just finished plotting this story and it’s SOOOO cute. I can’t wait to dive in and Read more …

Here’s a thing I do!

Can I be honest with you? There’s a lot I don’t know how to do. A lot. And even though I consider myself a learner, there are a few things which–to this day–intimidate the snot out of me. (Is that a saying? It’s a really odd one, if so.) Things Eryn definitely doesn’t understand: Engines – I’ve tried. Well, that’s notย completelyย true. What I try is to not let my eyes glaze over within the first five seconds of every time my husband tries to explain to me how they work. And it’s not just cars. One time there was something wrong with one of the motors in the air-blower in my classroom. When I asked the maintenance guy what was wrong with it, he told me it was the flux capacitor. I definitely believed him, even going as far as Read more …

Secret Reasons

I’m sure most of you have seen this letter from E.B White circulating around the Internet … I LOVE IT. Recently I’ve dealt with some health issues because of stress. 99.99% of the stress was stuff I had control over, stuff I’d signed up for. I said yes WAY too much–like almost exclusively–even when it didn’t make sense, I knew I shouldn’t, or I didn’t want to. So I’ve been trying to say no more the past couple of years. You know what I’ve found? It’s HARD to say no. Sometimes–especially when people expect you to say yes–it gets downright awkward after you say no. Sometimes people keep pushing until you say yes. Sometimes they get mad. I don’t want to lie, but sometimes it’s really hard to say, “I just don’t want to.” Enter: THIS letter! ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿผ I am Read more …

What I’ve Been Reading

Hey website friends. It’s been a while since I posted what I’ve been reading lately, so I thought it would be fun to let you know. One of my more favorite activities is to go on a daily walk and listen to an audiobook. I’ll try to delineate which books I’ve read and which I’ve listened to, if that makes a difference to anyone. Ya’ll, basically Jenny Colgan could write a grocery list and I think I would love it. My good friend recommended The Cafe by the Sea to me and I GOBBLED IT UP. Seriously. I told everyone (I think even a few strangers) about how ADORABLE it was. Obviously I had to read the sequel The Endless Beachย when that came out earlier this year. LOVED. Heart broken. Tears. Laughter. Everything. Needless to say, I’m SO looking forward Read more …
